15:29	jewel lang	No problem... Females have more of a pronounced necklace, or speckles on the breast feathers, and are also bigger than the males. These two have slightly different head markings too... It takes time

	Seaside weather at 6am: 5°C/41°F... Precipitation: 0%... Humidity: 84%... Wind: 13 km/h... A beautiful day ahead, highs in the low 60sF with clouds and breezes increasing this afternoon According to a local, there is another osprey nest very nearby that is being created on top of a new athletic field light cluster. This pole is taller than this nest. Bruce and Naha have been showing behavior that suggests that they may be unhappy with this situation, and currently there is some worry that they may decide to abandon this site and seek another. In my opinion this is unlikely, but still a possibility..... It is very early days yet, so we will keep our fingers crossed that they will settle and continue their season here. The next few days will be key in that regard..... stay tuned.

7:00 am	Bruce in with a nice flounder for Naha... still withholding, as he does the first couple of days... Bruce works on the head a little, making Naha complain.... then he flies it off. Well!	Bruce (M,Whole)
7:03 am	Bruce back in, blows Naha off the nest with his landing. He works on the head some more
7:08 am	Bruce finally gives her the fish... she flies it off

8:09 am	Bruce off to the north, back in with some fluffy lichen sticks

8:41 am	After polishing off 1 fish, Bruce takes off.
8:42 am	Bruce is back with some nest bedding and more nest work.
8:45 am	Naha's back into the nest to join Bruce. Bruce mantles.

10:23 am	Bruce brings in another tiny fish... He has found the Kiddy Pool! Naha is not around, so he starts in on the little fish	Bruce (XS,Whole)
10:24 am	Naha flies in, talking softly about that fish.... Bruce gives it up to her, she flies off with it.
10:30 am	Bruce in with alot of dark bedding and he covers up some of the lawn with it.
11:30 am	Bruce brings in a very long twiggy stick, hard to place!
12:20 pm	Bruce brings in a small stick, 12.22 Naha flies in..... 12.25 Naha glides off to the east, and Bruce follows a couple minutes later
12:48 pm	Bruce in from the west with a small fish... Naha flies in a couple minutes later. Bruce withholds it, then flies it out to the east.	Bruce (S,Whole)
1:08 pm	Bruce floats back in..... followed by Naha.
2:00 pm	Bonding
2:26 pm	Bruce brings in a nice big trout for Naha! She takes it squealing for joy, and flies it off to the east. (He listened....☺)	Bruce (L,Floppy)
2:51 pm	Bruce flies in, followed by Naha, who now has a full crop
2:59 pm	Both birds startle, and fly off the nest.... vocalizing
4:42 pm	Bruce in with another tiny fish (minnow).... He is alone, starts picking at the fish. 16.44 Naha lands and asks nicely for the fish... Bruce keeps eating. She asks a bit louder...	Bruce (XS,Whole)
4:46 pm	Naha yells at him, and Bruce flies the itty bitty fish away.... (I guess he was hungry!) He flies back in with no fish... She tells him a thing or two...
4:49 pm	Bonding.... and Bruce leaves as the rain increases...
5:44 pm	After doing some more fish calling, Naha leaves.

	Seaside Weather at 7am: 6°C/42°F... Precipitation: 90%... Humidity: 99%... Wind: 13 km/h... Cool this morning with showers and winds tapering off, high in the low 50sF and some sunny breaks
6:12 am	Bruce flies in from his roost with a fluff of lichen.... Good Morning! Off again at 6.17
7:11 am	Bruce brings a little gift for Naha, who hasn't come to the nest yet today.... off he goes again with his catch	Bruce (S,Whole)
7:30 am	Bruce back in with a little lichen stick.... does some nesting, waiting for Naha.

7:59 am	Bruce finally gets the stick fixed precariously on the edge, then gets double buzzed by a very noisy crow....
8:14 am	Bruce in with another big stick, this one much easier to place....
8:31 am	Bruce triangulates several times, then dives low toward the west, by the swings
8:34 am	Bruce back in with a twiggy stick

9:48 am	Bruce floats down into the nest with a twig.... more housekeeping.
10:00 am	Bruce in with a lichen twig, softly vocalizing..... (From his behavior, I believe Naha is close by, and he is trying to entice her in.... just a feeling based on his body language.....)
10:11 am	Bruce flies down to the west.... and back in at 10.21 with another lichen stick
11:13 am	Bruce in with fluffy lichen... out again at 11.16 toward the creek.
11:31 am	Bruce in with another little fish (minnow?)... another enticement for Naha; she doesn't bite. Off he goes with his little fish.... lol	Bruce (XS,Whole)
12:14 pm	Bruce in, off again at 12.18. 12.19 Bruce back in with a HUGE stick...Tough to find a spot big enough to hold it! I comes to rest on the very edge of the Northwest rim....
12:23 pm	Bruce off again, fast
12:28 pm	Bruce in with a VERY awkward stick, and big too... He fits it nicely on the south rim. (There will be no escapes....)
12:38 pm	Bruce gets very excited, does a lot of flapping and jumping around.....
12:39:021	Naha lands on the nest, finally..... Bruce goes into a heavy mantle of welcome
12:50 pm	Both fly off fast.... something startled them I think

1:09 pm	After lots of alert chirping, Naha(?) launches fast off the cam post
1:14 pm	Bruce flies in with Naha right behind him.... both wary, and watchful. After a moment, Naha flies off, and Bruce settles into the nest bowl, watching all around
1:26 pm	Naha flies back in, making Bruce mantle.... uneasy, she flies off again. I wonder what is going on?

1:42 pm	Bruce flies off toward the estuary
1:45 pm	Bruce back in the nest... As he cups the nest bowl, he kicks the unknown material.... It still doesn't change shape, so maybe not cord
1:53 pm	Naha lands on the nest, making Bruce flap and mantle again.... Hahaaa, the first couple days of the reunion can be so awkward!
1:58 pm	Bruce flies off nest, then back around and comes in for a proper mating..... then off toward the estuary. The party has begun....😉
2:05 pm	Naha flies off nest
2:22 pm	Both Bruce and Naha fly in together.... He has a fish for her, but withholds it as he usually does on the first cou[le of days of their reunion.....	Bruce (S,Floppy)
2:32 pm	Naha finally gets her fish... a 10 minute withholding
2:49 pm	Bruce brings a huge awkward stick in, and gets tangled trying to manage it.... Naha flies in just in time to witness his embarrassment...🤭
3:01 pm	Bruce back in with twigs
3:41 pm	Bruce brings a little twig in... places it and flies off again
3:45 pm	Bruce back in with a long whippy stick, and gets in all kinds of trouble trying to work it into the decor......
4:07 pm	Bruce in with a stick, followed by Naha who makes him flap and mantle when she lands on the nest. Ah, she sees he has a little fish... (not a stick)... he flies off with it..... Then returns to the nest and gives the fish to her. She takes it off nest	Bruce (S,Whole)
4:15 pm	Bruce flies off to the north
4:16 pm	Bruce in with a long whippy stick

5:04 pm	Naha flies off of the nest. Just as Bruce is flying back onto the nest.
5:11 pm	After some feaking, nest cupping and nest work, Bruce is away. He ate the small fish he had.
5:21 pm	Naha or Bruce flies over and past the camera and nest.
5:25 pm	Bruce is into the nest with another fish. Less than a minute later Naha's back in too, making Bruce mantle.	Bruce (S,Whole)
5:29 pm	Naha grabs the fish from Bruce and off she goes with her 3rd fish of the day!
5:30 pm	Bruce leaves too.
5:30 pm	After doing some more nest work, Bruce is off too.
6:00 pm	Bruce is in with a fish and he takes off with it!	Bruce (M,Whole)
6:04 pm	Bruce is back with a headless fish. Naha follows him in, making him mantle. Naha goes to try to take it from him. But Bruce takes off with it.
6:09 pm	Bruce is back without the fish and Naha was doing some nest work. He decides to help her out.
6:13 pm	Bruce leaves.
6:19 pm	Bruce bonds with Naha and lands in the nest.
6:31 pm	Naha flies off.
6:39 pm	Bruce is off too.
