33 delivered a very lively pike and let it loose among the kids.. it almost flips out of the nest, but 33 catches it.
Maya takes over... and let it go too!!
The kids seem to be okay as maya lies down between them (and the fish)
A bit of a strange situation:
The kids are eating.. and it's been hot all day, too hot for maya to brood all the time, so she takes some time off the chick to provide some shade and cool wind..
However during the 11 am feed you can see #3 panting heavily and it collapses to the side (and getting up real quick).
Is it weakness still for the new born, or is it a bit too hot for it yet?
Maya gets up and takes some time stretching her wings and legs
